Summerfields Miniature Railways are delighted that Santa was able to find time in his busy schedule to visit them again this year for 3 days.
Over 800 people were able to travel by train to his grotto at Hammer Hill, Haynes to enjoy meeting him with their families and friends. Packed trains full of excited children left Haynes End in clouds of steam and the sounds of horns and whistles echoing in their ears.
After their visit the trains returned, with children clutching their gifts, for the parties to enjoy refreshments in the station buffet. Fortunately it remained dry but being December it was also great to warm up in a relaxing atmosphere after all the excitement.
