We are always looking for new members to come and join us at the Bedford Model Engineering Society.  You don't have to be an engineer or have had any special training,  you just need a bit of enthusiasm and a bit of interest in what we do.

Some of our members build breathtaking models and others don't, they are quite content and more than welcome to just come and lend a hand in the week or at a weekend, drink tea and have a chat.  Any member can be trained to drive the club locos or operate any aspect of the railway. We have regular club nights and events throughout the year and if you are going to build something, our members collectively have a vast amount of knowledge.  All this for about 40p a week cant be bad.
